The 1st cache as part of the Kaupokonui mini-power trail. The trail was designed to encourage to our nephews SamLand, Stiig_NZ and Zammlander to enjoy geocaching close to home. KT-3 and KT-5 will be established by SamLand an Stiig_NZ in the coming months. Watch out for them!
A trail has to start somewhere. There used to be a corrugated iron bus shelter 30 metres from the GZ, and those of a certain era will remember either the "Banana Bus" or the "Coca-Cola" Bus turning at the top of the Lower Glenn Road.
The cache is a circular plastic 200ml container container a giraffe cache guardian. It is designed to be an easy find, especially for those under 16. PLEASE WATCH YOUNGER CHILDREN AS THIS CACHE IS NEAR THE INTERSECTION WITH SH45
