The 6th cache as part of the Kaupokonui mini-power trail. The trail was designed to encourage to our nephews SamLand, Stiig_NZ and Zammlander to enjoy geocaching close to home.
Not to be confused with its larger cousin in Palmwood, Queensland, Camelia Glen Nurseries was established by Vivienne Joyce, on the property of her parents, the late Alf and Ella Gamlin. TreMichLan's first paid job was here weeding the camelias as a 3rd former before cultivars were sent to clients around New Zealand, and for export overseas. The nursery also provided the plants for the landscaping at Kaupokonui Beach. The terrain rating reflects the need to pass over an old wire fence, and through the remnants of a boxthorn hedge. It should not present many problems and the rating will be revised downwards based on finder comments so please provide feedback based on access for all the family.
