Geocache Description:

A lonely plaque telling a story from yesteryear


Early bullock drivers on this Red Road called this crossing Bog's Hollow.

About 1920 Arch Angel (1853-1931) returning home from the "Three Legs o' Man" Inn was thrown from his horse after seeing a Ghost in the mist. The horse was found 3 days later in Belanglo Forest.

A pipe and tarring removed the crossing in 1989.

Please be very careful parking as there are hidden gutters close to the road edge and speeding cars can appear suddenly in the dip. I parked in an old driveway on the opposite side of the road towards Sutton Forest.
