Coopers Hill/Cranham Circle 1 Traditional Cache

The cache is a 2 litre clip lock box in a camo bag and can be found on part of one of our favourite circular routes. 

The route goes through the Buckholt Wood Nature Reserve. 

For the circular route

• Park at Fiddlers Elbow car park on the A46 between Brockworth and Painswick
• From the car park follow the track up the steps to the Cotswold way and turn right
• Follow the Cotswold Way up to the edge of Buckholt Wood (51.820797, -2.165992)
• Leave the Cotswold Way at this point and take the left hand path down the hill to Buckholt Road (51.819046, -2.162773)
• Cross over and head to Coopers Hill/Cranham Circle 1
• Then head to the alternative car park
• Turn left and follow the road into Cranham. The route continues left past the Scout Centre (51.816114, -2.153117)
• Follow the path up towards Coopers Hill/Cranham Circle 2
• Cross over the road and follow track towards farmyard
• Take left hand path past woodstacks to junction and go right. (51.824112, -2.156422)
• Head up to Barrel Makers Hill cache
• Return along the Cotswold Way to Fiddlers Elbow
