Kimberley is a very popular geocaching area, especially now with so many caches placed along the Rails to Trails. It's really time for a travel bug hotel...and we've have six TBs sitting around for too long looking for a home. So we've built one...
Kimberley Travel Bug Hotel is located just off to the side of Highway 95 A, between Kimberley and Marysville...and an easy spot to find. Parking is readily accessible off the road, but take care walking to the cache site. For cachers hiking the Mark Creek Lions Trail, a slight and easy detour will take to you the KTBH. Cache container is a large ice cream bucket...lots of rooms for TBs. Please make sure it's well hidden...to discourage mugglers. Log and writting stick is there.
For the FTF, an Australian travel bug, Returning Boomerang, obtained from an Austrailian geo-couple visiting Canada... a really neat metal boomerang that has traveled the U.S and Canada for several months.
