Getting There:
This cache is a scenic hike from either of two starting points:
From the Trailhead: ~1.3 miles one way
From the Middle School Track parking area: ~1.2 miles one way
Either route offers a peaceful desert stroll with stunning views of the surrounding mesas and Lake Powell. Bring plenty of water, especially in warmer months—shade is limited, and the Arizona sun doesn’t mess around.

Why “Raven’s Runway”?
When I placed this cache, the area was buzzing with raven activity. These clever birds were gliding effortlessly along the rim, as if strutting their stuff on a natural runway in the sky. It felt like they were putting on a show just for me—and now, maybe for you too.
Bonus Tip:
This is a great spot for photos, especially at golden hour. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, and don’t be surprised if a raven swoops by to check out your style.
