Replacement cache for Hand of Time. This is a memorial cache for Butch Hancock (Army veteran), originally placed by his family and friends during the weekend of the 3rd Annual Memorial ORV Ride (April 2010). The original cache went AWOL and was replaced during the 5th Memorial Ride (April 2012) and this new cache was created during the 6th Memorial Ride (April 2013).
Find the “hole in the pole” and align your view with the “hill that speaks to others” and walk for about 90 seconds (approximately 385 feet). You will find additional coordinates, then look for the lone soldier standing his post.
Requires driving on a good dirt road, but does not require 4WD to the stop point at the Hand of Time marker. The walk from this point is easy. If you get to the Camp Cady historical marker, you have gone too far.
