The Cache is completely housed Liberty Twp.
I have been caching for several years and really get a kick out of the interesting caches out there. Early on, I thought of this idea for a cache, but never acted on it. Only the final will have some bushwhacking, the rest you've got to piece together.
Up Periscope is a 3 stage multi cache that takes place completely in Liberty Twp. The coordinates listed above will take you to the first Clue.
The final Location will take you to Dudley Woods Park.
FINAL CACHE: N: AB CD.EFG W: HIJ KL.MNO
As you find each number, add it in to get the final coordinates.
NOW STAGE 1 – The above location listed on this cache will take you to one of the oldest buildings in Liberty twp. In 1922, it was used for storage and a custodian's residence. (Do math to get the correct number for that coordinate. Due to a "shift" in the cache location, I had to make some adjustments)
It was built in 1EFG E = ______ F =(F-2)= _____ G =(G-1) = _____
Now as you make your way to your car, toward the rear of the building, look for a stone "rectangular column" approximately 3 feet tall. It will have two sets of numbers carved in it:
D:XX (The D and C is there), so it is:
D: CI ________ C = ____ I = _____
on one side and C: Kx ________ K= ____
NOW TO STAGE 2: N 39 22.790 W084 26.192
I wonder "HOW IT" sounded going off in war. Wetlands Park is a beautiful place to walk the dog or geocache!
On to the clue, look closely at the Cannon and search for the name plate: It says:
HOWITZER MEDIUM STOWED, xNO mm, m11J ax = N =___ O=(O + 2)= ___ J=___ H = ____

Now with great eyesight, look on the back of the Howitzer shield (when looking at the name plate, turn right) There are numbers stamped into the shield.

That should complete all you need to get to the final cache site. At the final, some bush whacking may be necessary, but be weary of muggles. Once you are there, it may be obvious, but you must be clever to get to the cache. Good luck and don't get wet...
