Geocache Description:

Equus ( Latin For Horse ). So named in honour of these magnificent creatures who have helped mankind in both times of peace and times of war. In recent times this caches has been getting disturbed so I have moved it slightly . I have changed the coordinates accordingly. You will now be looking for a BLACK container which is just a little bit unusual. There is now no room for goodies .

This time Spikeyman has put you near Tweed Coast Road. Park your car on the grass in these parts as some vehicles come up Tweed Coast Road fairly fast. Whilst searching for this cache you might well be confronted by a number of horses, indeed Spikeyman was disturbed by a group whilst doing the initial hide , These horses are invariably accompanied by riders who use this track to take the horses from the horseyard to the beach and vice versa. These people will in all probability be muggles so please let them, and their horses, pass in peace before proceeding with your search. Pause and consider the love affair that Australia has had with horses over the years . Banjo's "Colt From Old Regret " ,The "Light Horse" Charge horses in WWI , (who's only reward was a bullet in each and every head), Phar Lap, Gunsynd and lately Black Caviar , all well remembered. "Equus" is also the title of a fairly confronting play written some years ago by Peter Shaeffer and if you have the chance to see it you should , but don't take your maiden aunt.
