Betwixt and Between Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is placed between the villages of Helford and Manaccan. There are stunning views across country from here, to the north, west and south.
Goonhilly Downs are clearly visible, with the satellite dishes and wind farm visible on a clear day. To the north, the mast on Carn Brea is easy to spot.
This makes a good resting place if you are doing the Helford Woods series and the Muddy Meander round Manaccan series of caches. The cache is a disguised micro. This cache can be done as a cache and dash or as part of a glorious walk around the area. The cache is close to a road junction, which can be busy in the summer time, but it is well back from the road. It is not accessible to wheelchairs due to the steepness of the edges of the grass verge here. It is fine for pushchairs and will be OK for geohounds and geokids as long as you keep an eye on them. Congratulations to The Jets on FTF
