An eye-catching POI south of the Todaiji area.
Foreign residents may have the chance to pass by here on the way to the Nara Immigration Office, if they take the two legs rather than the hypotenuse. A very scenic area there are quite a few pics of this area on Google Earth. A couple who had just gotten married were a short distance away having their picture taken. (The 24/7 attribute isn't enabled, but this could be done at night with a flashlight. Not a great idea though.)
