Chalcross2: Sadly the caches in the "No 1 Hits Of The 1960s" series regularly disappear or become damaged so I have decided to archive them.

Geocache Description:

This is the second of five themed caches around Gerrards Cross Common. It is 'Wooden Heart' by Elvis Presley, which reached No1 in March 1961.

Gerrards Cross common covers around 32 Hectares and is immediately to the North of the A40. West Common and East Common form a curved Northern edge and it is bisected North / South by Packhorse Road.
There are areas of open grassland which include a children's play area and a football pitch. There are also two ponds and two large wooded areas. It is in these areas of mainly silver birch with some holly that the caches are placed.
There is a network of paths crossing the common and the caches are all quite close to a path. The main paths are pushchair and wheelchair friendly, side paths can vary in accessibility. There is a new wheelchair friendly path skirting the common along West and East Commons. Cycling is permitted with priority given to walkers.
There is free parking in marked bays ( 1 hour limit except evenings and Sundays) around both East and West Common, but unrestricted to the Eastern end, close to cache No 1. There is also a Pay & Display car park in Packhorse Road, while the supermarket near the railway station allows up to 3 hours free parking.
This cache is placed with the kind permission of Gerrards Cross Parish Council.
You are looking for the song title. There is room for small swaps and trackables. A new heart in place, same co-ords but lower than before. Lots of goodies in the bag for early finders. Please replace carefully to minimise soaking of the bag in the rain and also not to demolish the hiding place.
