Geocache Description:

This cache is our first cache and hopefully the beginning of many more, which was placed with the help of cjchughes, It was placed by the youngest member of our team, on the old railway tracks.

It is a very nice walk in the summer that we enjoy taking our dog on and hope you enjoy too.
We also enjoy cycling down the track from withernsea to Hollym


The railway in Withernsea opened on the 27th June 1861 and the last passenger train ran on the 19 October 1964. Goods traffic continued to use the whole line until 3 May 1965, Since then it has become a  quiet place surrounded by nature.

Josh owns a trackable called Chip that he has sent out in the world and he hopes one day his trackable will come back and finish up here,
Please note no special equipment is needed but you may require wellingtons when it is wet.
The cache is a small lockbox containing a logbook and a few swappables
