Geocache Description:

This is my Old Barns I've Played At Series, I'll try to get caches at all of the rinks I've played in but I think some of them already have caches.

This cache is located very close to a rink from my childhood, Lunenburg Arena, then and current home to the Lunenburg Falcons. I played several away games here, and I remember it being one of the colder rinks to play in. My strangest memory is that the step to get onto the ice was huge, I was afraid I'd never get off the ice. Research tells me that the arena was built in 1928, which seems pretty old for a wooden barn, that is still in operation. Especially seeing as the oldest operating rink in North America seems to have been built in 1922 (and it's brick and steel, please correct me if I'm wrong).
