Released in 2001 and Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Donnie Darko is a time travelling, fantasy drama about a troubled teenager living in Middlesex, Virginia, who is manipulated by a figure in a monstrous rabbit costume, who introduces himself as "Frank" and tells him the world will end in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds.
