Welcome to Lake Hume
a.k.a. Hume weir, Hume Dam


A quiet spot amongst the trees to relax in the shade, maybe a spot of fishing if the water is up this high (bit of a walk from here when it is low).



This area was once the more popular area around the lake, with the accommodation, big water slide (which has now been removed), paddle boat hire etc. Much of it has been lost with time.

Parking is available at the boat ramp, just take Ray Walsh Drive from the main road to the bottom. Parking here will require to traverse a small gully to get to Gz. Parking above Gz isn't recommended as the road is fairly narrow.
