I have learned many things from geocachers that I may or may not have even met. I thought it would be cool to do a Gratitude Series to express my thanks!
Joesdolphins taught me about PAF or Phone a Friend. This has been especially helpful those times when I hiked to someplace for a hour and then searched 45 minutes and just needed a little nudge to finally get the prize. With phone numbers you are never really alone even if you are hiking alone! I also love that Joe can find a cache when the coords are 100+ feet off and he generously posts the correct coords so the rest of us can find the cache. Joe has also planted some very creative hides which stumped me and forced me to make several trips (OK so PAF does not always work). THANK-YOU Joesdolphins!
