One of the growing list of @Play Caches which I'm attempting to place. As a way of revisiting the last remaining nostalgic playgrounds in Singapore. In fact playgrounds have only started in the 1970s, as a way of allowing children living in the HDB neighbourhoods to have fun after school, or while waiting for dinner.
Truly, those were the carefree days of climbing high, without fear of falling over.
BYOP.
One of the Nostalgic Playgrounds of the yester-years in Singapore - last standing sand playground. The rest have been converted into rubber mat playgrounds. This resembles one of the dragon playgrounds which I used to climb up & down the spine with friends, in our early years. In fact the Dragon Playgrounds were designed by Khor Ean Ghee (born 1935), in 1979. So this playground is already 34 years old.
Go on! Have a climb, walk on the spine, go as high as 3rd storey, see the world from the dragon spine.
