Geocache Description:

Welcome to Bingham St. Mary and All Saints Church Micro. This is a straighforward offset multi cache.

To find the final part of this cache you will need to visit the churchyard and gather clues to calculate the final location.

To find the cache....

You need to keep an eye out for Robert Harris and his daughter.

To calculate the co-ordinates, you to find out:

A = Roberts age when he died divided by 25
B = The number of Harris' mentioned on this Gravestone
C = Number of letters in the name of the house minus 1
D = The age of his daughter when she died minus 21
E = The number of letters in his daughters name plus 1
F = The days of his date of death added together

All answers are single digits. Once you've found the answers you need to slot the numbers you have calculated into these co-ordinates:

N52 57.ABC W000 56.DEF

PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL ON YOUR WAY TO GROUND ZERO PARTICULARLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN WITH YOU, DON'T JUST BLINDLY FOLLOW THE ARROW!!!

Some church information....

Although Bingham today is only a small town, in the past it has had greater significance, being the meeting point of the Bingham Wapentake at the time of Domesday, and ecclesiastically the central point of Bingham Deanery.

The church was founded in the early 13th Century, and most of the structure is of the 13th and early 14th Centuries. It of a classic cruciform shape, with north and south transepts in addition to the nave and chancel, though the porch and vestries make this less obvious from the outside, and it has a well-formed broach spire. Much of the current interior is the work of Sir George Gilbert Scott, working in the 19th Century, and W D Caröe, in the early 20th. One of the bells celebrates the defeat of the Armada, and there are a number of fine carved headstones in the churchyard.

You can read up on the history of the church in full, here
