In this series I combine my love of geocaching and Useless Movie Trivia. Please follow all park rules and regulations. BYOP, write small, initials only. It is a simple multi, go to waypoints 1 and 2, get the coordinates for the final, find the cache. This is a high muggle area. There might be times when you will not be able to search because there are just too many non cachers.
The inspiration for this cache is from 1993s "The Sand Lot". The Sandlot is an American sports, comedy, and coming-of-age film directed by David M. Evans about a group of young baseball players during the summer of 1962.
Several stars of this movie went from happy go lucky, suburban, kids in the early 60's to darker, more sinister roles. This cache is like this in a way; easy and light hearted in the begining but darker and deceptive in the end.
Tom Guiry,"Scotty Smalls" the movie's protagonist, moves on to play roles in; Mistic River, Blackhawk Down, and Ride with the Devil.
Patrick Renna, the husky red head "Ham" goes on to play roles in in several dark movies; Say You Love Satan, Very Mean Men, and Murder World.
Dennis Leary, who played "Bill", Scotty Smalls step dad, was in Judgement Night, True Crime, and Suicide Kings.
On a different note Mike Vitar, "Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez", grows up to be a real life fire fighter in Los Angeles.

The area of waypoint 2 is starting to show the effects of geo-trompiling, thus I will give you a hint. 5th tree from the right (looking from the park to the the street. "Bonus" cache 2nd tree from the right. (no need to sign the log just get the GC code) Both can be seen from the outside of the tree, no need to move any branches. Happy hunting.
