The Lighthouse Church was founded in 1906 by a young couple who saw there was no sunday school in the area which was then under construction. They began classes in their front room further up the road....and very soon there was a class meeting in every room except the loo!
The Children were soon joined by adults who gathered to worship , Pray & study the Bible. They began saving and were able to buy the land the church now stands on. The Building opened in 1925. Over the years this vibrant church sent quite a number of missionaries to various parts of the world.
