Geocache Description:

We loved Tenerife since we came here for our anniversary six years ago. We visited the island once every six months (sometimes more often) until we fully retired. After our retirement, me and my husband moved here for good. Looking for a nice affordable property in our favourite area, we bought a house in this street, where we had the sea, the sun, the golf and the mountains just a few minutes away. All we had ever wished for came true. After all the bureaucratic work and a river of paper work we finally could settle down in the sun. Every day we would enjoy the great things that Golf del Sur offered us, from scuba diving to golfing three days a week, sailing, driving around and discovering the many possible hang outs Tenerife could offer.

Everything was just perfect. The neighbours were fantastic and we made great friends with them. Six months into our dream life of retirement my husband told me he wasn't feeling well, that he had a bit off a headache and he was going to lay down. A few days went by and he didn't seem to improve. The head pains were getting worse and he started to murmur weird things, like he didn't like being here and he had enough of our new life. I thought it would all change once he felt better but his condition went down to zero, he just kept getting more and more aggressive and nothing could make him leave the house. He started having paranoia. He even threatened the neighbours and scared the people passing by. My husband just turned into somebody I didn't know anymore. The doctors gave up as they couldn't get close to him. He was just too aggressive. But I still had the hope that he would change back to the man I had four beautiful children with. After some time the neighbours moved away from the street. They were scared and many of them urged me to leave too but I couldn't. I just loved him too much, I couldn't leave him. I should have listened to them though. Now I'm buried near this cache. Don't come here PLEASE!!! My husband is at home. There are no neighbours anymore to help you. And if you do come BE CAREFUL.... You could end up buried here in the garden next to me.
