Geocache Description:

Z is for Zip Tie -

A zip tie, cable tie, or tie-wrap, is a type of fastener, especially for binding several electronic cables or wires together and to organize cables and wires.

In its common form, the nylon cable tie consists of a tape section with triangular teeth that slope in one direction. The head of the cable tie has a slot with a flexible pawl that rides up the slope of these teeth when the tape is inserted. The pawl engages the backside of these teeth to stop removal of the tape.

Cachers use these to fasten containers to trees, signs, and other misc. locations. It's recommended to use Black zip ties as they are likely to last longer in the sun over other colors.

This is a series of caches all being letterboxes, none of the hides are tough, just look in the obvious locations. Any of the micro sized containers, will not contain an ink pad, so please bring your own if you chose to stamp. Do not take the stamp or the pad, they must stay in the container.
