A solution to the first half of the coordinates will give you an extra digit which is of no value to the answer and can be discounted. The solution to the second half will give you the typical number of digits.


*** I know it's common practice around here to congratulate the FTF in the body of the cache page...but in this instance I also think it's reasonable for me to congratulate not only the 'first to find', but also the 'first to solve'. While waterfan5 clearly earned the FTF, the first person to present the correct method of solving the west coordinate was beldredge. Great job!
