Geocache Description:

Come to Hixson - to GeoCache!

After beating down the B'ham beast, Flagg2007, Cloud Dog 9 and I came home victorious - our adventure can be read here. After weeks of celebration, we went back to our normal caching lives, forgetting the dangers that had befallen us while in Birmingham. Shortly after we returned, CD9 found out that we had somehow brought one of the beasts back with us to Chattanooga.  Since then, we have watched with growing concern as the beast is apparently breeding and spreading out around the city

Bring a flashlight and your courage, and flush the beast from its lair. It is going to be a battle.


From the posted coordinates, you will need to stroll* into the Belly of the Beast approximately 50 feet.

CO note: I wouldn't advise hunting for this cache while it is raining or has rained recently. Beware of muggles, this is a muggle heavy location. I found it easier to enter the lair from the Apothecary side, while I found it easier to exit elsewhere.  Please place the cache back EXACTLY as you found it to keep the cache in place for others to enjoy.
