Avila Bay Club Traditional Cache

     This part of the Coast is a great area with many hiking trails, surfing, kayaking, camping and dune buggying.  The  Avila Bay Club is part of the "Avila Village" complex just a mile Northeast of the town of Avila Beach.  Access off San Luis Bay Drive. The Club is members/guest only..  It has 6 tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts, and two swimming pools plus exercise and weight rooms.  It is the premiere club in the area.    

Access cache from San Luis Bay Drive. This cache is 2” long and about 1”in diameter.  It is in plain sight, not in bushes. You can reach out and touch it from the parking lot pavement. If you remain vertical, you can see it whether you are 2 or 10 feet tall!  I repaired the cache on July, 28/2025. The log is now in a small glass container

Muggles are frequently in the area on their way to play tennis or exercise.  Do not trust them.  They can use their tennis rackets as weapons.

Drive carefully as some muggles may be texting and walk directly into your car.  You could still be blamed for not avoiding the accident.
