This memorial has historic significance as a Governor of Connecticut is buried here. Look for a crest with letters, a date, and a picture of a soldier. Under that is a plaque.

F = # of letters in the Governor’s first name
After that, move up to the left, you will find an old grave stone with a book imprinted at the top. On the ground you will find a newer plaque. The person’s initials are W.W. and the first and last names are just about identical. Read the plaque and marvel in what historic significance this person had. Use the information on the stone and the plaque to answer get the next two numbers.

Many stones are hard to read and therefore have been supplemented with plaques. This stone is one that is easy to read. This is a white stone with “Revolutionary War” imprinted on the top. The rank of this individual was Captain.

Now, plug the numbers in and head to the final. The hint provided will describe exactly where it is if you have a hard time finding it. The point of the cache was to bring you to history and a section of the area that is void of caches. You are looking for a silver bison tube. I had planned a larger cache but after paying homage to the historic significance I decided this was not a place for swag.
