Geocache Description:

This is my first hide so of course I had to make it unique and different. This is a cache placed with permission by the Fayette Township Fire Department which I am a member and firefighter at this station. Cache is located in a very safe and low muggle area which is also accessible 24/7.

This is a cache placed with permission by the Fayette Township Fire Department which I myself am a member of and firefighter at this station. The Fayette Township Fire Department was established in 1953 and operates out of 2 stations which cover a total area of 27.6 square miles. Call volume per year for this fire department averages around 500 calls per year roughly. The 2 stations for the FTFD are located in the Burlington and Sunrise areas in Fayette Township of southern Ohio - FTFD Station 1 (200) is located in Burlington which is the location of this cache and FTFD Station 2 (700) is located in Sunrise. Cache is located on the outside of the station and is accessible 24 hours. Cache is also located in a very safe and low muggle area. Parking is the gravel lot anywhere beside of the station. Be sure to BYOP as therefore this cache does not have one. This fire department is also very active with the public and community and if you see the doors open or anyone there and want to see the trucks and equipment please feel more than welcome to ask for a tour of the station and equipment if curious. Don't be hesitant to look for the cache if you see people hanging around at the station as all the members and firefighters know it is there and expect to see people looking for the cache.
