A popular sports destination in a garden setting, Ryde Park has recently been upgraded and features a new playground, with a basketball court and cafe adjacent. It is suitable for events and hosts a number of major Council events including the All the Colours of Ryde festival and Community Christmas celebrations. – From Ryde Council Website.
This is my first cache and I decided Ryde Park for the location taking into consideration I live locally, Top Ryde is a short 5 minute walk away, there aren’t any caches in this park and when I first came to Ryde there was absolute nothing to do until I joined the locals at this park.
Some typical activity that you can observe at Ryde Park are locals either taking a fitness class in the early morning or late afternoon, joggers, loan bowling, basketball-soccer-footy-cricket players, people playing card games, picnics, children enjoying their play dates on the park equipment whilst their parents chat away at the tables and lots more.
I have placed three (3) caches within this park, each container are original (first of there kind). Please email your recommendations and thoughts relating to the ratings, description, etc (as to help better each cache).
