A quick cache n dash on a shortcut called The Apache to Leadhills via Crawfordjohn. Small container.
Cache Number 5 The cache is on The Apache which runs from Crawfordjohn and the B797 between Leadhills and Abington. I often use it as a short cut to Leadhills and Wanlockhead on my rounds. The road can be precarious in winter when there is snow as it has steep sides at places. The road summits at approximately 1200 feet above sea level.
An ideal cache to do on the way to leadhills to pick up the four caches currently in Leadhills and Wanlockhead.
The Cache is in a small black container and is obscured by rocks.
You can stop your car near to the cache close to the verge. The road is quite quiet..
Congrats to 6669 for yet another FTF!!!!!
