Our third hide located on a small footbridge in a spot close to a large open limestone quarry.
In the distance when the trees are sparse you may see some remains of chimneys from times when underground mining of lead and limestone was prominent in this area. Please be aware that this is an active quarry so care should be taken as large wagons do regularly travel this route. There is no need to go towards the quarry. You are also near water which can be fast flowing so care should be taken. This is an interesting area for history and you should check out some of the nearby caches, especially in nearby Ryhdymwyn Care should be taken with a fingertip search, the cache could easily be knocked and lost.
