Geocache Description:

Private beach, anyone? A rarely visited paradisiacal spot in one of Huatulco's many bays. Recommend taking a taxi to the trailhead - some of the locals know where it is or if you feel like an adventurer, have at it!  The walk down the goat path is somewhat rugged so wear good shoes (not flip flops!).  Plenty of sunscreen, agua and beach towels are a must if you really want to get the most from this geocache!

We TOTALLY used geocaching to drop us into paradise!  The beautiful views and rugged, wild terrain along with the turquoise waters as they crash against the rocky shore makes this one of the most picturesque sights that we have ever seen.  And encountering the reality of life and death in the wilds of Mexico made this an even more memorable experience.  For your sakes, we hope you don't encounter 25 vultures picking apart a dead sea turtle being swept in and out of the bay for most of the afternoon or have to worry about the possibility of one of your adventurers being smashed against the rocks by the surf.  It is an awesome and powerful force that must be admired from a distance and approached with respect up close.  And who can resist dipping one's toe in it?
