Geocache Description:

The first of a number of caches placed at entrances to the beautiful walking area and nature reserve of The Welcombe Hills.

The cache is hidden in a lay-by just off the Ingon Lane to the village of Snitterfield. The lay-by is the start of a public footpath that leads up to the hills. It is the nearest access point to the large obelisk that rises high over the Welcombe Hills. 

The cache is a small camouflaged, clip topped container. It contains a log book and pencil and a few bit of swag.

The Welcombe Hills are a beautiful area to walk in that has given us great pleasure and hours of exercising the dog. The Hills are a nature reserve of some 148 acres managed by the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust on behalf of Stratford on Avon District council. For more information on the Welcombe Hills see:
