Geocache Description:

This is my 5th cache hide.  I enjoy caching and like to hide caches to allow others to have fun caching.  Caching gives you many advantages.  Great exercise in the great out of doors ( a thing we as a society have lost), it makes you think and figure out the mind of the cache owner, allows you to see areas and explore part of this world around you you might never see, and gives a common interest families can use to grow closer and work as a team.

This as the name says the gateway to Welcome community where all my caches are located and a great community to visit and live in.  This area of the county has long been a hub for small business.  Mr. Jackson had a country store here that served the area for many years.  Now this same spot is still serving the area. Tires and auto repairs are served up daily to Coweta and surrounding area as the home of Westside Tire.  The area has also been the location of a building supply business.  Wright and Young served the area with building materials for many years.  The location is still serving the area as a hair salon the building is the home of Shear Designs and a small church congregation.  There is in this area a Farm and Masonary Supply business. There was another country store in this area.  Many will remember the Davis Country Store for years. Then who can forget Mac and Jacks counrty store. Later it house one of this areas most sucessful small businesses Hemrick's Superstore was here for many years before moving to its present location.  Today it still houses a counrty store.  While in this area remember the people who make this area of Coweta a great place to live and shop.

The cache is on private property with the permission of the owner.  Please cache with respect and don't cause a problem respect the owners rights. She has agreed for the cache to be here to allow us to hide and hunt a cache.

The cache container is small about film canister size.  No room for any swag just large enough for a log.  BYOP and please replace just as you find it.  Watch for muggles at times and again be respectful as you search and retrieve this cache.
