How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Difficulty rating is for the qualifying requirement, not the hide.

NOTE: When we placed the caches, the road was good, but it seems that with lots of traffic, and dry weather, it has turned into a dust bowl, often rutted. Proceed with caution, depending on the time of year and the type of vehicle you have. These were not meant to be hard. Spring might be the best road conditions.

To log this cache you must have found 20 caches, with the name of each beginning with one of the special key characters on the computer keyboard (ie: @, %, *, etc. -- no letters or numbers). To qualify, each cache must begin with a different key - there can be no more than one of each key. You might have noticed some of those caches near here!!!

Your log must include documentation to prove you have found the 20 qualifying caches. (name of cache, GC#, date found)

Just a simple cache placed along a dirt road, off the Strike Dam Cutoff Road. Not much traffic here.

This is NOT part of a power trail, so please leave this container at THIS cache. Please DATE and SIGN the log sheet, close the lid tightly, then replace the cache with enough cover to keep it protected.

Take time to enjoy the desert, and keep your eyes open for slithering critters and ticks.
