In the Mexican culture, Day of the Dead or Dia de los Muertos is celebrated on Nov.1-2. It is equivalent to the observance of All Souls Day. The central theme of this cultural celebration is to honor the dead by visiting the cemetery where they are buried and take those things that were of special interest to the grave site. Things such as a favorite beverage, food or objects can be taken. The family can recall special memories and share stories of their loved ones during their visit.
The container is a camouflaged small bison tube. No need to enter the cemetary unless you are interested in checking it out. Please be respectful of the area. 12/23 now different container.
