Sows, Boars, & Cubs Traditional Cache
glofaw411: I am going to archive this one. Something seems to keep digging it out of the old stump and it keeps disappearing. I know at least one time a bear had been digging in the stump.

Cache is located just off overgrown gamelands road about 1/4 mile over fairly flat terrain from parking area in PA State Gamelands 287. Parking is at N40 56.707, W079 27.720. Give your coords time to settle down. Please rehide cache well. Congrats to SpaceDrum for FTF!
This can be a busy hunting area so it would be wise to wear orange year round, except on Sundays when hunting is not allowed. It is NOT advisable to look for this cache during bear or deer hunting season (except on Sundays). You are responsible for knowing and following all gamelands rules.
There is food, gas, and diesel just up the road in Widnoon.
So just what ARE sows, boars, and cubs? They are bears. A female bear is called a sow, a male is called a boar, and the babies are called cubs. A group of bears is a sleuth or a sloth. There are a few black bears in this area, but they normally go the other way if they hear you coming.
