Mon Ecole Traditional Cache

An M & M green tube. This is a quick 'park and grab' if you are driving, but it is also within 350 m of bus stops on Al Wasl or Jumeirah Beach roads. It is about 1 m above ground level. Please replace as you found it. The cache is easily accessible from the public sidewalk. There is NO need to climb on, or over, walls.

The neighbourhood has a number of points of interest:

- Jumeirah Open Beach, a great spot for sunbathing or a dip in the Arabian (Persian) Gulf, is a short walk west.

- the Jumeirah Grand Mosque (tours at 10 AM daily except Friday, dress code is enforced, check the web site) is a short walk north.

- the Iranian Hospital, a landmark but definitely not a tourist attraction, is a short walk east.

- further east, past the hospital, is the Al Satwa shopping district, not a souq but not a mall either.

- the giant UAE flag landmark and the dry docks are visible to the north.

We walk past this spot daily on the way to my grandson's nursery school, hence the name.

As you can see from the logs, the real attraction here is the (feral) cat.
