Welcome to the Miamisburg Community Park bike path! Enjoy a leisurely walk or a bike ride as you visit different characters and the Robert E. Lee Natural Bridge from The Andy Griffith Show.
Remember Sarah from The Andy Griffith Show? Well, maybe you don't remember her since she was never seen or heard. Whenever anyone on the show had to make a phone call, it was Sarah, the telephone operator, that they spoke to first. This letterbox is made in her honor.
The listed coordinates are the starting point for this letterbox. Take a minute to enjoy the view of the pond. Then continue south on the bike path toward the stop sign. Once you reach the stop sign turn to your right, facing the main road. Do you see the large grouping of bushes just to the right of the lightpole? Walk to the large group of bushes and the letterbox is located under the furthest left large bush with the light pole on your left. You don't need to go into the landscaping to retrieve it. Just kneel down in the grass in front of the bush and look under it. The letterbox is near the base of this bush.
Notice the words on the large white wall on the other side of the bike path. Things sure have advanced since Sarah's time in the 1960's. Please, use stealth as this can be a busy area.
