Geocache Description:

Welcome to Chip's Pachaug State Forest Series

I'd been eyeing these trails near home for awhile. Aside from the Rose Gold series there is little here to draw folks to this fabulous forest. Please enjoy these trails. A few suggestions:

1. Wear orange during hunting season or anytime close. It's just a safe choice regardless of laws, rules, or whatever.

2. If you bring it in, please bring it out (except for a little ink or pencil lead, and in a rare case a TB as most of these are small).

3. If it doesn't belong, and you can, bring it out. Let's leave it better than we found it.

4. Bring a writing implement. As many of you have learned, I rarely leave one at the cache. I always carry one and suggest you should also.

5. Please put the caches as you found them. If something seems off, please let me know and I'll check it out.

6. Dog's ought to be OK, but please leash them for all of our safety. Horses are known to ride here, and if your dog freaks out the horse you might cause a rider a serious injury (or death).

7. For crying out loud, have fun.
