Geocache Description:

A series of 10 caches plus a bonus cache on a circular walk connecting the delightful villages of Hilderstone, Milwich and Garshall Green (HMGG).

This five mile walk is mainly on field paths and tracks where underfoot conditions will vary due to the weather and time of year. The farm tracks particularly on the early part of this walk can be wet and muddy and so stout waterproof footware is advised. There may be animals in some fields and there are a number of stiles but the walk is suitable for older children.

The caches are a variety of types and are best done in numerical order starting from Hilderstone to avoid unnecessary retracing of steps for the bonus. However, they really could be found in any order and from any of the villages. Some caches will contain clues to enable the bonus cache to be found and some only hold a log sheet so bring your own pen or pencil. Some may require tweezers to retrieve the log

Parking in Hilderstone is limited but can be at the Roebuck pub (suggest you ask for permission). The 249 bus runs from Longton and Stone and stops at Hilderstone. The road here is quite narrow and the traffic travels quickly so extra care with geokids is required.

The bonus cache is at:

N52 54.ABC W2 004.DEF where ABCDE and F will be found in some of the caches.
