Take a stroll around Lonesome Bay on Lower Saranac. Cache is in a larger Lock and Lock.
Park in the parking cut out. please do not block the gates. The trail is a loop around the point. If you head left around the point it will bring you by some rock outcroppings and get a view of the lake. If you take the trail right it will lead you by the Forest Ranger Cabin. The area is awesome and now will lead to more trees taking over this hole in canopy.
