This cache will take you to the top of the Look out at Pine Creek.
From the lookout you can see the old pit of the Enterprise Mine, now full with water. Gold was first discovered in 1871 but work on the Enterprise Shaft didn’t begin until 1906. Once operations ceased in 1995 it took 14 months to fill the pit by diverting Pine Creek and it holds 6800 mega litres of water.
You are looking for a small gum container with room for very small swaps. Please ensure the zip lock bag is securely fastened to help keep log dry in the wet. Enjoy the cache and enjoy the views.
