One of a series of 3 "Smithies Loop of Ancient Times" caches hidden on or near the Lung Ha Wan Country Trail in Clearwater Bay.
This cache is hidden close to ancient artwork. It includes a coin exchange so please bring a foreign coin with you to exchange! Please also bring a garbage bag with you to collect some of the trash from the beach.
There are several rock carvings scattered along the coastline of Hong Kong. The resemblance of the patterns on this carving to those on pottery and bronze vessels of the Bronze Age suggest that they might have been carved by early inhabitants about 3,000 years ago.
