Geocache Description:

This cache is sited where Little Ouseburn Bridge goes over Ouse Gill Beck. Cache itself is a micro.

The marshy meadows along side Ouse Gill Beck are now a Site of Interest to Nature Conservation (SINC). Ouse Gill Beck is fed by a spring on the south west side of Great Ouseburn, known as the Stock Well. A few miles downstream from the bridge, the beck joins the River Ure. Originally a lake was created either side of where Little Ouseburn Bridge stands, but it has unfortunately now silted up through neglect.
