This cache is the first (or last) one in a series along Yankee Flats Road, which is accessed off the Salmon River Road,which runs between Highway 1 (Salmon Arm area) and Highway 97(north west of Vernon). Planning a trip, one way via Salmon River Road and returning via Yankee Flats Road (or the other way around) will give you a fair amount caches to find. Plus it is an interesting part of country road travel.
The container for this cache is a small bison tube. (If you're not familiar with bison tubes - to return the log, roll it and insert it in the cap first) that requires a BYOP. There is a good pull out area for safe parking with a tad more caution required when traversing the series north to south - It is located on the south-east side of the road.
