Lumpi ist ein Waldspitzmäuserich, der sich hier niedergelassen hat. Irgendwie abseits, aber eine spitzen Anbindung zum Rest der Welt - dachte er sich. Und wie Spitzmäuse nunmal sind, ist auch Lumpi etwas paranoid und hat sein Waldhaus gut versteckt, allein schon wegen der blöden Eule vom Baum gegenüber. Lumpi hat deswegen eine Klingel am Wegesrand angebracht.
