This is my first cache and they are named after ocean dwelling creatures I have been fortunate enough to see. I have tried to relate the name to the cache re- habitat, size or behaviour. These links may be rather tenuous!
This first series of caches are placed along a 1 mile stretch of road close to a local golf course and rugby club.
The road can be quiet but gets busy when there are rugby matches. The road extends into the woods where it can become inaccessible to cars. It is popular with walkers and cyclists. the first part of the road is easily accessible to wheelchair users and buggies but becomes more callenging the further you go.
The Pygmy seahorse is very well camouflaged and hooks its tail around folliage for stability.
Car parking is available along the road side.It is within a small clump of large trees at a junction. It can get busy with passing dog walkers, cars and buses
