Last summer I was at a “social gathering”, hanging out poolside with some friends at the posted coordinates.

There was a friend of mine in attendance who is an amateur magician. He was doing basic slight of hand tricks entertaining a small group of interested guests. I must admit, he was very smooth.

When he asked for someone to offer up a wallet or watch that he could make disappear, nobody seemed willing to pony one up. I do not carry a wallet or a watch, but I did have a cache container at the ready. I didn’t want my friend to lose momentum, so I offered up the cache container for him to “disappear”.

Well, he made the container disappear with a flash of fire and smoke. Everyone was impressed. However, when my friend attempted to make the container reappear, he could not seem to complete the feat. A very odd way to end the act.

Later in the evening, I asked my friend to return the container. He said that he didn’t have it and was sorry that he couldn’t figure out the right words to make it reappear. I was perplexed. He swore that he made the container disappear by projecting it away 1002 feet at 119 degrees. When he attempted to retract the container back, he only had enough strength to retract it 32 feet at 270 degrees from the point where the container landed after the initial projection.

I went out to recover the container but unfortunately after an extensive search I could not find it where he said it would be. I went back a second time. And a third. Finally, I went back a fourth time. Still no cache. I have finally given up. I decided it made more sense to just list the cache. Hopefully you will have an easier time finding it than I had.
