We started this tube series with this log puzzle cache. It's not tricky to find but that's when the little bit of fun starts. Where's the log? An original idea (we hope) developed by a Father and Son team.
It's placed on a walk along the river Welland in Deeping St. James. The walk can be started from either of the locks on the river or from the parking spot. The cache is less than a mile from either lock. At the low lock GC3YC3V Star Trail One can be the start point. Near the high lock there's GC267AT Muggilicious - Deeping St. James Bridge.
Please note there is an open river and parental supervision must be provided at all times. The final location could be dangerous for young children so please take care.
The cache is in a camo bag and is tied on . The puzzle requires a bit of manual dexterity and smaller fingers will help. There it only a log in the cache with no room for any stash. The cache can be removed from the bag without untying it but if you can't please re-tie the bag on after solving the puzzle and resetting. Enjoy.
